"Whoever asks Allah (s.w.t) Paradise three times, Paradise says: 'O Allah, admit him into Paradise', and whoever seeks refuge from the Fire three times, the Fire says: 'O Allah, save him from the Fire.'"
In another Hadith (Sunan Abi Dawud 5079), the Messenger of Allah(saw) said;
‘’When you finish the sunset prayer, say: 'O Allah, protect me from Hell" seven times; for if you say that and die that night, protection from it would be recorded for you; and when you finish the dawn prayer, say it in a similar way, for if you die that day, protection from it would be recorded for you.’’
Difference Between Allahumma Ajirna Minan Naar And Allah Huma Ajirni Minnaar
This dua can be read either اللَّهُمَّ أَجِرْنِي مِنَ النَّارِ or اللَّهُمَّ أَجِرْنا مِنَ النَّارِ. In either case, the essence of dua remains the same. Ajirni is the singular form of the verb and Ajirna is the plural form.
