      وَ نُنَزِّلُ مِنَ الْقُرْاٰنِ مَا هُوَ شِفَآءٌ وَّ رَحْمَةٌ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِیْنَۙ-وَ لَا یَزِیْدُ الظّٰلِمِیْنَ اِلَّا خَسَارًا (17:82)

رَبَّنَا عَلَیْكَ تَوَكَّلْنَا وَ اِلَیْكَ اَنَبْنَا وَ اِلَیْكَ الْمَصِیْرُ(60:4)

“Our Lord! In You we trust. And to You we always turn. And to You is the final return” (60:4)

 حَسْبُنَا  اللّٰهُ  وَ  نِعْمَ  الْوَكِیْلُ (3:173)

 “Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affair” (3:173)

 رَبِّ اشْرَحْ لِیْ صَدْرِیْ وَ یَسِّرْ لِیْۤ اَمْرِیْ وَ احْلُلْ عُقْدَةً مِّنْ لِّسَانِیْ یَفْقَهُوْا قَوْلِیْ (20:25

Rabbi-Shrah li Sadri, Wa Yassir li Amri, Wahlul Uqdatam Min Lisani Yafqahu Qawli

"Lord, lift up my heart and ease my task for me. Remove the impediment from my tongue so that they may understand my speech. (20:25-28)

اَنِّیْ مَسَّنِیَ الضُّرُّ وَ اَنْتَ اَرْحَمُ الرّٰحِمِیْنَ (21:83)

Annee Massaniyaz-Zurru Wa Anta Arhamu Urrahimeen

“I have been touched with adversity, and You are the Most Merciful of the merciful.” (21:83)

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ الْهَمِّ وَالْحُزْنِ وَالْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ وَالْبُخْلِ وَالْجُبْنِ وَضَلَعِ الدَّيْنِ وَغَلَبَةِ الرِّجَالِ

"O Allah! I seek refuge with You from worry and grief, from incapacity and laziness, from cowardice and miserliness, from being heavily in debt, and from being overpowered by (other) men." 

 Dua For Anxiety Worry And Distress

We often forget our Lord and His blessing and remain busy in our negligence, hard times remind us to turn to Him. there is a small yet powerful dua for anxiety worry and distress from the life of the Holy Prophet (SAW) mentioned in Abu Dawud 2/87.

اللهُ اللهُ رَبِّي لا أُشْـرِكُ بِهِ شَيْـئاً

Allah, Allahu Rabbi la ushriku Bihi shay'a.

Allah, Allah is my Lord. I do not associate anything with Him.

Dua For Anxiety And Depression

A prayerful dua for anxiety and depression which the Messenger of Allah PBUh advised his beloved daughter Hazrat Fatima R.A to recite in the morning and evening. This beautiful dua is mentioned in Abu Dawud 4/324.

اللّهُـمَّ رَحْمَتَـكَ أَرْجـو فَلا تَكِلـني إِلى نَفْـسي طَـرْفَةَ عَـيْن، وَأَصْلِـحْ لي شَأْنـي كُلَّـه لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أنْـت

“O Allah, I hope for Your mercy. Do not leave me to myself even for a blink of an eye. Correct all of my affairs for me. There is none worthy of worship except You.”

Dua For Distress

Abu Hurairah R.A. narrates a Hadith Tirmidhi 3601, that the Messenger of Allah (Pbuh) said to me: ‘Be frequent in saying: La Hawla Wa Laa Quwwata Illa Billah, For verily, it is a treasure from the treasures of Paradise.’

 لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِالله

“There is no might or power except by Allah’’
