Benefits of 4 kalima

Benefits of 4 kalima

4 Kalima is a witness of the Oneness of God

The 4 Kalima emphasizes the unity of Allah. Therefore, it negates the notion of any partner to Allah in his Lordship and attributes. Opposite of tauheed is “Shirk”. The word shirk means ascribing any partner to Allah in His worship, names, and attributes, which is strictly prohibited in our Islam. So, reciting this reminds us that everything in this Universe is the Creation of Allah and that He created it Alone and no one is like Him.

Kalma e Tauheed Strengthens our belief

Kalma e Tauheed reinforces the concept of Allah’s might. Believing in the Oneness of Allah strengthens our faith and enlightens our souls. It leads us to live a better life and encourages us to be well-being by building our moral standards. It is a source of connection with Allah and the cause of our inner peace.

Protects from sins

According to the Holy Quran, the greatest sin anyone can commit is “shirk”. Shirk is an unforgivable and punishable sin mentioned in the Quran. Anyone committing a shirk will have a worse reward on the day of judgment (Akhirah). This kalma denies the shirk and protects us from committing the greatest sin.

It develops bravery

Whoever recites this kalma accepts that only Allah is all-powered. All other forces and powers fade in front of His power. No one can cause harm to anyone without Allah’s power and will. This concept develops a sense of bravery in believers. The fourth kalma fortifies this concept and makes man brave and strong.

Hadiths about Kalma e Tawhid

Many hadiths narrate the importance of kalm e tawhid. One of the authentic Hadith, Al-Bukhari (3292) is that The Holy Prophet (SAW) said that;

Whoever recites the following Dua in Fajar, his ten sins shall be eliminated, ten virtues shall be added and ten ranks for him must be added. The Dua is

Al-Bukhari (3292)

Which means: “There is no god but Allah, the One,  He owns no partner, to Him belongs the entire Sovereignty, to Him be praise, and He is all power and omnipotent.

Another Hadith narrated in “Sahih Muslim 2691’’:

"Whoever recites the Holy text

"لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ "

one hundred times in a single day will be blessed as if he had freed ten slaves, will earn one hundred credits and will have one hundred sins erased. "
